First TRACECA Investment Forum opens a gate to financial markets

The First TRACECA Investment Forum will be held on 12 October 2010, in Brussels, Belgium.
The Forum offers a great opportunity to enhance the dialogue between TRACECA and international financial markets and the transport operators, a TRACECA press release says. Deadline for registration is 20th September 2010.
22 “priority projects" from TRACECA member states were chosen for presentation during the Forum, following technical, economic, political, and ecological criteria. All projects have high priority and commitment within the national transport plans of participating countries.
The Forum will be held at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Brussels on October 12 2010. It targets to increase the communication and cooperation between financial markets, transport operators and TRACECA member states, focusing on transport and infrastructure projects.
Among the invitees to the Forum there are stakeholders involved in financial markets and international financial institutions.
In the invitation letter to the stakeholders, TRACECA Secretary General Zhantoro Satybaldyev, said: ‘Having passed the credit crisis of 2008/2009 and envisaging economic growth in the major markets state of the art logistics and accompanying infrastructure pave the way to trade and development.
Member countries of TRACECA building a natural multinational transport channel have made remarkable efforts to explore synergies for regional and global development through investments into multimodal logistic networks’.
And ‘The First TRACECA Investment Forum, Brussels 2010 will offer a great opportunity to enhance the dialogue between TRACECA and international financial markets’.
