Forecast for €3 million Eastern Partnership Youth Regional Unit

The European Commission has published a forecast for a €3 million contract for the Eastern Partnership Youth Regional Unit. The publication reference of the forecast is EuropeAid/132439/C/SER/Multi.
 
According to the forecast, the main purposes of the contract will be:
  • to support capacity development of government and civil society actors in the youth sector in Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine), and encourage the involvement of a broad range of stakeholders, including young people, in youth policy formulation, implementation and evaluation;
  • to facilitate the mainstreaming of youth issues across relevant policy spheres, and thus foster a cross-sectoral approach to responding to the needs of youth;
  • to facilitate the development of a more comprehensive evidence base for youth policy and youth affairs, and associated capacity-building in the effective use of these resources;
  • to target the needs of disadvantaged young people through a combination of activities, including a focus on the development of youth work;
  • to ensure the visibility of the Eastern Partnership youth programme.
