Hands-on guide for implementing CBC projects
15-11-2011
A “hands-on” guide containing useful information, practical tips and templates, is now available for organisations implementing ENPI Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) projects.
The 132-page Project Implementation Manual aims to give Beneficiaries and Partners a better understanding of ENPI CBC rules and procedures so they can better launch and implement their projects. It will also be useful for potential applicants and partners wanting to know about the implementation process.
The guide has been produced by the EU-funded Regional Capacity Building Initiative, which supports the 13 Partner Countries currently participating in ENPI CBC programmes.
The manual is divided into five practical sections: getting started; procuring services, supplies and works; managing activities and achieving results; reporting and payment requests; and anticipating project closure.
A series of annexes, available only in electronic format, offer users the following practical examples, checklists and templates:
The guide is designed as a generic manual, which can be made programme specific and ‘branded’ by each of the ENPI CBC programmes as their own in order to reflect their specific rules. (ENPI Info Centre)
