Implementation Guide for CIUDAD Lead Applicants and Partners

The CIUDAD Supporting Mechanism has published an "Implementation Guide for Lead Applicants and Partners” aimed at helping CIUDAD grant beneficiaries in managing and implementing their grant projects.

The Implementation Guide, based on the Practical Guide to Contract Procedures for EC External Actions (PRAG) and the General and Special Conditions for the grant contracts and their annexes, provides practical hands-on information on rules and procedures for administrative and financial management, monitoring, reporting, accounting and visibility. In its annexes, it also provides practical examples of forms and sheets to be used for grant management and reporting, and for procurement procedures.

The day-to-day management of a grant project is a challenging and time-consuming task. In addition to conducting planned project activities, beneficiaries are also responsible for the obligations that are set out in the Specific and General Conditions of the grant contract. This Guide does not in any way replace these obligations, but provides a practical hands-on tool to make your daily work easier and more efficient: it provides guidelinesand advises on questions of general importance to all grant projects co-financed under the CIUDAD programme.
