A study providing an in-depth analysis of the dynamics of women's civil and political rights in the Palestinian Territories, with specific emphasis on the legal and institutional framework and its implication for gender equality and women’s empowerment. Conducted by the Euromed Gender Equality Programme (EGEP), a regional programme which aims to strengthen the capacity of qualified actors in order to promote equality between men and women in the region, financed by the European Union as part of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP).
