Who we are
The EU Neighbourhood Info Centre portal and news service is run by the OPEN Neighbourhood Programme. The Programme has been launched in November 2015 for a period of four years and builds upon the previous Regional Communication Programme.
OPEN Neighbourhood is structured around three complementary projects:
- 2 mirror projects communicating results of the EU support in the Southern Neighbourhood (EU Neighbours South) and in the Eastern Partnership countries (EU Neighbours East)
- 1 project for the whole Neighbourhood focusing on the training of journalists and media specialists (MEDIA HUB)
The contracts for the three projects of the OPEN NEIGHBOURHOOD programme are implemented by consortia led by MWH Global (for EU Neighbours South), Ecorys UK (for EU Neighbours East) and Thomson Foundation (for the MEDIA HUB).
An archive of all the information materials produced so far illustrating EU cooperation with its Neighbourhood partners is accessible on the portal, including:
Key documents and reports about the EU Neighbourhood partnership gathered between 2009 and 2015 can be found in the EU Neighbourhood library.
Communication and visibility tools and tips can be accessed in the Communications Toolbox.
The new portal of the OPEN Neighbourhood Programme is currently under development and will be launched in the first semester of 2016.
