Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum open for applications

The application process to take part in the fourth meeting of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) from 29-30 November, in Sweden, is now open. Submissions of expressions of interest (see application form in list of weblinks below) should be completed in English or Russian and sent before midnight central European time on 18 June.
 
The procedure for selection can be found in the call for expressions of interest in the list of weblinks below, updated in line with the emergence of national platforms, the need for more explicit criteria to be shared with applicants to ensure the transparency of the process, and to reflect the increase from four to five working groups. Expressions of interest should be sent to the following email address: applications@eap-csf.eu
 
According to a press release from the Civil Society Forum, the EU will be able to fund the travel and hotel accommodation during the Forum meeting only for the selected CSOs (civil society organisations) – up to 180 in total, a maximum of 130 from the EaP countries and a maximum of 50 from EU member states.

  •             31 May 2012: Platform 2 intergovernmental meeting: Brussels
  •             6 June 2012: WG1 CSF meeting: Brussels
  •             7 June 2012: Platform 1 intergovernmental meeting: Brussels
  •             18 June 2012: Platform 3 intergovernmental meeting: Brussels
  •             21 June 2012: Platform 4 intergovernmental meeting: Brussels
  •             9 July 2012: WG2 CSF meeting: Brussels
  •             17-18 July 2012: EAP CSF Steering Committee meeting, Brussels
 
The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) was established in 2009 following the Prague Summit which launched the Eastern Partnership. The EaP CSF aims to support the development of civil society organisations (CSOs) and facilitate their dialogue with public authorities in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine.
