New per diem rates for EC-funded external aid contracts

EuropeAid has published its updated per diem rates for missions requiring an overnight stay away from the base of operations in the framework of EC-funded external aid contracts.
 
The new rates are applicable from 9 July 2009.
 
Per diems, which vary from country to country, cover accommodation, meals, local travel within the place of mission and sundry expenses. The rates are updated every six months.
