Anna Lindh Foundation launches Internship Programme
02-08-2012
The Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) has announced the launch of its Internship Programme for 2012. This programme aims at fostering interdisciplinary knowledge as well as building practical know-how, targeting young, talented undergraduate and graduate students, willing to gain practical experience in a field relevant to the Foundation through their full involvement in daily work.
The Internship Programme, which includes internships at the Programme Coordination Unit and at the Network Coordination Units, seeks to support the internal human resources capacity of the ALF with students or graduates between 19 and 32 years old, fluent in two or more of the official languages of the countries of the Union for the Mediterranean, and qualified in areas relevant to the ALF strategic interventions.
Applications for internships are welcome from residents of the 43 Euro-Med countries. Any application from a resident outside the 43 countries can be accepted under the condition that its cost will not be covered by the ALF. North-South Regional balance in the selection of the interns will be among the selection criteria.
The deadline for application is Tuesday 21 August 2012, 5pm Cairo time. Applications should be sent to ALFinternship@bibalex.org
The Anna Lindh Foundation for Inter-Cultural Dialogue promotes knowledge, mutual respect and inter-cultural dialogue between the people of the Euro-Mediterranean region, working through a network of more than 3,000 civil society organisations in 43 countries. Its budget is co-funded by the EU (€7 million) and the EU member states (€6 million). (EU Neighbourhood Info)
