Lutter contre les discriminations et les violences à l'égard des femmes

L’égalité entre les hommes et les femmes et la lutte contre les violences à l’égard des femmes comptent parmi les priorités du programme EGEP « Promouvoir l’égalité entre les hommes et les femmes dans la région euro-méditerranéenne », qui évalue actuellement la situation dans 9 pays méditerranéens partenaires. Mettre fin aux violences à l’encontre des femmes est une priorité, a déclaré Judith Neiss, directrice du programme, avant d’ajouter que la représentation des femmes était un autre volet clé.  
 
Le projet prépare à ce sujet un rapport général et 9 rapports nationaux, dans le but de définir des priorités et de mettre en œuvre des activités régionales répondant aux besoins identifiés.
