11-03-2010The EU Delegation in Egypt is organising an information day on Sunday, 14 March on calls for proposals in the field of culture, including the regional EuroMed Audiovisual III programme and the ENP special action of the Culture programme.
The information session, starting at 2pm, will focus on the 2010 Call for proposals for cultural activities in Egypt, but will also include explanations on the two regional programmes.
The 2010 Call for proposals for cultural activities in Egypt is open to cultural operators and NGOs promoting cultural activities in Egypt. The focus of this year's call is on contemporary artistic expressions.
Sunday’s information session in Cairo is the first of three planned in order to facilitate the application process, where technical information about the application will be fully explained. Two additional sessions will be organised later in Alexandria and Asyut.
The EuroMed Audiovisual III call aims to develop and reinforce cinematographic and audiovisual capacity, promote complementarity and integration of film and audiovisual industries in the region, and promote the free movement of audiovisual goods and services in the sector.
The 2010 special action of the EU Culture Programme call seeks to support cultural cooperation projects aimed at cultural exchanges between EU countries and third countries, which have concluded association or cooperation agreements with the EU, provided that the latter contain cultural clauses.
