EU launches website for European cultural activities in Egypt
05-07-2012

A new website has been launched advertising European cultural actions in Egypt. From this week, European cultural cooperation goes live on the internet, offering lovers of culture a single entry point for all the cultural activities implemented by the European Missions, Cooperation Agencies and Cultural Centres.
The website - http://www.euegyptculturalagenda.eu/ - seeks to give a better and more simple access to information, and to improve the visibility of the efforts deployed by the European Union in the field of culture.
The website is available in English and Arabic and is updated twice every month. For instance in July, visitors can get information on 'Design Is a Verb', an exhibition organised by the British Council and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina; and the next film projections of the Austrian Cultural Forum: The Unintentional Kidnapping of Mrs. Elfriede Ott and The Third Man.
Visitors can also subscribe to a newsletter, which provides updates of the European Cultural Agenda twice a month.
This project is the result of joint efforts by the EU Delegation and all 27 EU Member States present in Egypt. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
