EuropeAid re-launches tender procedure for Euromed Audiovisual III Monitoring and Support Unit

EuropeAid has re-launched the service tender procedure for its €1.5 million Regional Monitoring and Support Unit for the Euromed Audiovisual III Programme (publication reference EuropeAid/129249/C/SER/MULTI), after the previous tender procedure was cancelled.
 
The purpose of the Regional Monitoring and Support Unit (RMSU) is to accompany the Euromed Audiovisual III programme and to provide more specifically:
  • technical support to all the grant beneficiaries resulting from the call for proposals EuropeAid/129593/C/ACT/MULTI (i.e. 5-10 projects) by providing:
    • monitoring and reporting – to help anticipate problems, avoid mistakes, prevent inadequate or insufficient reporting, etc.,
    • coordination – to encourage contacts and exchanges between project beneficiaries,
    • support/advice – in order to improve programme/project performance and impact;
  • link the programme with wider networking activities and organise a number of thematic workshops which involve not only the grant beneficiaries but also relevant stakeholders, by ensuring:
    • dissemination and visibility – dissemination of the results of projects,
    • exchange of know-how and information – to increase the visibility of Euromed Audiovisual III and of the projects,
    • improving and enlarging networks – in order to maximise the programme's impact and ensure sustainability, a reinforced regional and inter-regional integration, to form the basis for long-term partnerships.
 
The indicative maximum budget, funded under the ENPI South programme, is €1.5 million. The provisional commencement date is January 2011 and its initial period of implementation is 36 months.
 
Participation is open to all natural and legal persons participating in a grouping (consortium) of candidates established in an EU Member State or in a country or territory of the regions covered by the specific instrument applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. It is also open to international organisations.
