EuropeAid has published the short list of candidates for the Euromed Audiovisual III Capacity-Building Support Unit (EuropeAid/129251/C/SER/MULTI).
The capacity building support unit (CBSU) will provide technical assistance for enhancing the capacities of the cinematographic and audiovisual sector of the region.
This procedure is one of the components of the Euromed Audiovisual III programme, which aims to contribute to the development and strengthening of the capacity of the film sector in the ENPI South region (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Syria, Tunisia) and to contribute significantly to mutual understanding, intercultural dialogue and cultural diversity, in line with the "
Strategy for the Development of Euro-Mediterranean Audiovisual Cooperation", which was approved by the Euromed culture ministers in Athens in May 2008.

The indicative
maximum budget for the CBSU, funded under the ENPI South programme, is
€4.5 million. The provisional commencement date is mid-November 2010 and its initial period of implementation is 36 months. (
